Scoping Review for Risk-based Decision Making Poster Addendum

For an article to be included in this scoping review, it must meet all of the following inclusion criteria:

  1. Studies published 1990 or later for relevance.
  2. Studies with an explicit focus on risk dictating decision making as defined above.
  3. Studies with an explicit equal focus on both risk assessment and decision making as defined above.
  4. Studies with explicit analysis on the impact the risk assessment had on the decision making process.
  5. Original research (qualitative and quantitative reports) and/or review of existing research.

For an article to be excluded from this study, it must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Studies published before 1990.
  2. Studies with no explicit focus on risk directing decision making.
  3. Studies with no equal and explicit focus on both risk assessment and decision making.
  4. Studies with no explicit analysis on the impact the risk assessment had on the decision making process.
  5. Studies that included technical analysis or modeling.
  6. Not original research or review of existing research.
