Biography: 

Dr. Colverson has over 30 years of experience with gender analysis, assessments, publications and evaluations in east Africa, Central America, Caribbean, Middle East and USA. She also has over 25 years of experience in formal and non-formal education. Kathleen possesses extensive training and capacity building experience in domestic and international settings and has also developed and published curricula, textbooks and refereed journal articles. She developed courses, workshops and seminars on topics related to training, community development, gender and participatory development. Further, she has over 25 years of experience working with small and limited resource farmers and communities to create sustainable practices in production, marketing and gender equitable project planning with a particular emphasis on small livestock production and value chain development. Dr. Colverson will be working with the TARTARE Dairy and Beef teams.
