Biography:
Alebachew currently serves as the Operations Manager for The Ohio State University Global One Health initiative Eastern Africa Regional Office. Alebachew received his his BA degree in Accouning and MSc in degree in Finance from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He also received his MPH degree in Public and Environmental Health from Hawassa University, Ethiopia. He has a total of 18 years of experience working in finance including working for the Ethiopian Insurance Corporation as Auditor (2 Yrs), senior accountant at Adam Construction PLC (3 years), a global fund finance focal person for a the Network of HIV Positives in Ethiopia project (2 Years), a regional manager for Save the Children International (3 Years), grants and contract specialist for the Ministray of Health CDC and Global Fund (1 and 8 months), grants and finance manager for a Pathfinder International project (4 Years), finance consultant for the International Livestock Reseach Institute (ILRI) (4 months), and project finance management and reporting specialist for the World Bank PSNP Project (9 Months). He supports the TARTARE project on finance and operation-related areas.
