Tomorrow's guest speakers for the FDSCTE 7727 Interdisciplinary Colloquium on Food Safety; Current Topics in Food Safety course are none other than Ellen Evans and Sanja Ilic!

Ellen Evans, Ph.D., is a Research Fellow from the ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. Dr. Evans supervises BSc, MRes and PhD student projects relating to food safety. Current student projects include the use of food-media to deliver food safety messages and the role of dieticians in the delivery of food safety information to vulnerable patients. 

Sanja Ilic, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Human Nutrition in the Department of Human Sciences at The Ohio State University and a Food Safety State Specialist. Dr. Ilic’s research interest includes investigating and promoting food safety, and the reduction and prevention of food safety risks among growers, consumers, food handlers, and populations at risk including the visually impaired and cancer survivors.
