Foodborne illness is a serious public health issue that causes an estimated 600 million illnesses, with Africa and South-east Asia carrying most of the burden. Over the years, CFI has earned a reputation as a leader in improving food safety policies and practices through science-based approaches. And we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Through CFI food safety research projects led and supported by our passionate student researchers and student interns, we are able to conduct research that is fundamental in preventing foodborne disease. Support our funding efforts and CFI’s global leadership in food safety. Because there is so much more we can do! Consider giving a little today, even $5 goes a long way.
