“CFI is excited to partner with Food Safety Tech’s Hazards Series Conference April 3-5, 2023. Hosting the conference at OSU enables CFI to highlight student, faculty, and staff’s food safety research. We are passionate about working with food safety experts to develop novel solutions to ongoing food safety issues that affect millions of people worldwide.” - Dr. Barb Kowalcyk
Our goals at the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention (CFI) are to drive the development and implementation of innovative, science-based solutions for the food safety challenges of the 21st Century. We view ourselves as knowledge brokers, working to translate science into practical, evidence-informed policies that protect public health and prevent foodborne diseases.
This event will highlight the research, policy work and outreach of our staff and students in 2022. Event participants will have opportunities to network with CFI students, poster presenters, OSU Faculty, and food safety experts. And will also have the opportunity to participate in a CFI fundraising dinner on Tuesday, April 4th to help raise funds to support our students’ research.
We are excited to see you all there in April!
