  1. Library Science Intern
    • Position Number: 7235091
    • Role Description: Seeking a Library Science Intern for the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention to help develop and execute a reorganization of electronic team files. Intern will collaborate with Janet Buffer and Katie Stolte-Carroll to re-organize the current filing system for efficiency and ease of use. The role will address future work by conducting a document naming and storage gap analysis and then creating a document management SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the team to follow. Basic knowledge of OneDrive is required. Experience with MS Teams is desired but not required. Graduate or undergraduate. Ideally 3-5 hours a week would be dedicated to this project, but these hours are flexible. Position is available for spring 2023 semester. Work will primarily be remote with occasional in-person meetings.   2. Communications Intern 
    • Position Number: 7212232
    • Role Description: Seeking a Communications Intern for the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention to maintain the CFI website (https://foodsafety.osu.edu/) with weekly blogs and news articles as well as develop content for CFI’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Position also involves writing periodic press releases to highlight work being done by CFI and development of food safety brochures and related public awareness handouts. This is an unpaid position, but we are very flexible with scheduling. Student should have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Student must have good organization and planning skills along with the ability to multitask and prioritize objectives to meet deadlines.
  3. Graphic Design Intern
    • Position Number: 7212280
    • Role Description: Seeking a Graphic Design Intern for the Center for Foodborne Illness Research and Prevention to develop CFI print materials and digital materials for CFI’s website and social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Position also involves the development of food safety brochures and related public awareness handouts. Intern will collaborate with the CFI Communication Team to develop and design concepts that adhere to OSU brand guidelines. Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals is required. Graduate or undergraduate. 5-10 hours a week. Hours are very flexible. Position is available for spring 2023 with option to continue through summer term 2023.
